Competent Person / Retained Contracts
We can provide as part of our retained service, a Competent Person element. This fulfils your requirement to have someone with the right skills, training, experience and knowledge to support your business and ensure risk is identified and managed. We keep you up to date with the legal stuff too.
Competent Person retainers are a minimum of 22 hours per year support.

Audits & Audit Preparation
We can complete your annual company audit, which is a comprehensive check of all areas of liability for Health & Safety, and give you clear guidance on how to meet any shortcomings. We start all competent person packages with a gap, to set the structure of the contract and ensure you direct your resources in the right order of importance
We also provide internal audit preparation for ISO9001 (Quality), 45001 (Health & Safety) & 14001 (Environmental). Where assistance is required, we can help you implement any measures needed too.
Ad Hoc / Non Competent Person
We are able to help on a 'one off' basis, or as and when you feel you need us. This can be ideal for fixed term projects, temporary pinch points and leave cover. Ad hoc support is 'pay as you go'.
Likewise, if you need longer term support but without the competent person element, you can set your own contract length and spread payments equally.

Site Inspections
Site inspections are common in construction, but it shouldn't be exclusive to an industry! Having practical inspections of workplaces to ensure they remain well managed and safe can help you reduce risk and prevent incidents. It also meets the requirements for your duty to monitor and manage health and safety.
This can be especially useful for businesses with multiple offices to ensure synergy and consistency of standards across the board.
