Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Training
Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Training 15 Minuets
Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) is a widely recognised safety procedure that ensures that dangerous machinery and energy sources are properly shut off and are not started up unexpectedly while maintenance or service work is being completed.
When working with heavy machinery, it only takes a small accident or a bit of carelessness to lead to very serious injuries. Activating equipment or power sources before tasks are complete can put people maintaining or servicing them at risk, which is why it is essential that employees who may have to practice the procedure have a fundamental understanding of it.
This online training course offers the user an understanding of LOTO, why it is essential to follow procedures, and there legal responsibilities under UK legislation.
